Ive been using my box store splitter for years. Always use it vertically, rolling log rounds to it as I sit on one. I've always had a vision of building a setup where my splitter is set up vertically on a table/workbench waist high. I no longer need to attempt to build it, as this 1165v is it! Love the log lift which I have mostly only seen on horizontal units. I'm strongly considering one of these in my future.

How's she goin'? The knee control seems to work pretty good eh! That'll be a lot nicer. Also adding those angles, even with the little bit of height it had, was a great mod too. Nothing worse than having the splits fall off the table. The Split Fire is a great splitter and I really like the cycle time on it.
