I tried using design space on the iPad (before it literally exploded - yep went to use it one day and it was in pieces on the couch, popped open and came apart the same way the first Apple Watch did for many people after a year). I never liked the interface.

go to the menu bar in design space. Under Linetype you will see a box (probably black) click on this and you can change your color. Be sure you have clicked on the item you want to change first.

Holly Berry Design Hello, thank you for responding. The design I am trying to split is not a solid design like your letter M. My design is a silhouette and there are gaps in between. So when I sliced it the square piece that I used to slice my design as you demonstrated in your video took in the absence of my silhouette design. I hope you are able to understand. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I tried my best. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Can you shine any light on my situation? 😂

The heart image you sliced...the slice option doesn't appear for me. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

To slice an object you must have two solid objects. Select both item (select one then hold down the shift key and select another) then your slice option should be available.

how do you save the fonts to your computer? I am having trouble with saving the fonts once I have downloaded them from dafont.com. I also cant find them very easily afterwards either. Newbie here.

yes, you have to download them to your computer. Be sure to exit design space after you have downloaded you font and restart so that the font will show in your list.

This font is free in dafont.com. Yes you can save projects in design space!

Click on the first item. Then hold down the shift key and click on the second item. Then you can do what you like with both of them. Hope this helps.
