As a trauma survivor I knew how fucked up her life was from the very first scene and I love the idea that she survived because she knew just what hell truly is. I also think that she told the cops about the Uncle but that means she'll end up in foster care where she'll get molested and beaten all over again. I haven't seen the next film but I'm hoping that she becomes one of his helpers to cleanse the world of those that can't appreciate what they have and enable the further victimization of others through their ignorance and indifference.

Unbreakable and Split were scripts that Shamalan wrote back during his Sixth Sense days. That's why there pretty decent compared to The Happening, Lady in the Water, and... 🤢 The Last Airbender. Honestly I think Glass came out at the wrong time. As a completion to this trilogy and setting up the wider world for other it is great. The world is such a good idea. With just enough to let other people do their own thing. But it landed in the middle of the Marvel Craze which created an expectation of how sequals should be setup and end. Glass isnt the only movie or tv series that suffered from it. Still Split is by far my favorite and I heavily enjoyed the other 2.

The beast is just amazing, it is both a different personality and a different creature all together. This is one of the times M.Shamalayan manages to prove that his superpowers really are superpowers, not just something a human can do. He actually grows several inches, and gains a lot of muscle mass, just look at Hedwig or Dennis VS the beast. His skin is now like armour, knives break on impact and gunshots barely pierce his skin it seems, he can crush people and bend bars with ease, and he can climb ceilings like spiderman, with nothing but bare feet and hands clinging to the wall.

But it's almost word for word retell of the French film inspired by the case of Milligan as well... I think it was called Labyrinth (Daedales in original)? Everything could've been a coincidence, but at the train station part it became absolutely clear that Shyamalan is a god damn thief.

Regarding the flashing lights being the Beast's weakness, I thought it was hinted at when Casey fired the gun and the Beast cowered from the blast. I thought it wasn't simply anticipation of getting injured, but also being bothered by the flashes of light. I could be wrong though, just my interpretation. How the organization in Glass figured it out, however, is anyone's guess. Maybe a secret member of the clover organization was on the police force and the group read between the lines of Casey's report on what happened and made an educated guess based on previous superpowered people they've taken out throughout history?
