I told people Old Stickfingers could be a real cEDH deck, no one believed me. I know that he wasn't against "Tier 1" decks, but winning turn two is pretty nuts, and the consistency and back up plans looked great!

I playtested Old Stickfingers in High EDH and boy is he a force to be reckoned with. I had a shizo and managed to beat someone to death in two turns because of how quickly big he got, did not even need to get my combo at all, insane...

I don't understand. How can he cast Chain of Smog Endlessly? He doesn't have infinite cards in his own hand to sack. He would need to have 40 cards in hand to sacrifice in order to get all opponents to lose 20 life

Friendly daily reminder that one can still play golos and that no one has to follow rules committee's arbitrary rules. Rule 0 in whatever works for the local group. Following rules committees suggestions, are just that, suggestions. They can't enforce anything in a format that doesnt exist outside casual. Also cuz their inconsistant and will likely be making more unnecessary calls with more commander bannings that just hurt their authority and the game because people still follow them. I do too when building decks though, but rule 0 is always no.1 rule of commander. Yes it's a rant, but I also don't think many people think "the rules commitee makes great decisions and makes only logical ones each time they make a major decision." Idk, I'm just ranting. They're not all powerful though, we should always remember rule 0..... Okay, I'm done :P

@@gonzluisd That stickfingers deck was on razasmog build with thassa's back up plan and most likely also earthcraft backup plan , but the exciting part is that this commander can be build in so many diferent ways , you have this razasmog version , various necrotic ooze versions and sidisi version , once you get tired of a version you literally just have to swap less than 10 cards to make the deck have a diferent winning line. To me thats something very exciting about Stickfingers ,unlike the many decks that just run good stuff and win with thassa's oracle every time.

We try to take some commanders and build them as optimal as possible. Sometimes we do our own brews, sometimes we pick up some lists online and try them. To have optimal decks for cEDH you will eventually have to rely on infinite combos to have better ways to win vs 3 opponents, and to have a better % win-rate. We do understand that for some people having fast games is not as fun as 3 hour games that end on turn 12. We also have some of those with stax pieces, but in the end Fun will always be subjective, and it's ok if you don't find this fun as well :)
