Cut end of copper off with gas power saw, use your wood or Charcoal inside, then use air chisel with blunt curved end to push loops out. Done many tons this way when i was younger.
@ZXLNT21 күн бұрын
Definitely air chisel on the big stators while he is pulling with the stator pulling. If you have an extra person, "Steve" can push the wiring out from the back side while the stator pulling it pulling the wire.

yeah buddy, the pakistani and indian scrappers are absolutely next level for doing alot with a little. i think you might have better luck if you use a hammer and chisel to work open a seam in the stator before you send the blade in for the first time. once its split seems like everything is smooth. you can see how that lamination is folding on itself, but once things are wedging apart its easy going. you just need some way of starting it wedged apart

Maybe you could build a blade like a trident only with a flat piece of metal. Where the center piece is pointed thick, but pertrudes out about 2 inches and then begin the tapered cutting edge angled back. Just a thought. You could call it. The Trident blade. Lol 😊

RECOMMENDATION: Get the torch and V groove that slot on the I Beam to give yourself a little more of a safety slot so the blade doesn't make contact with the beam as bluntly or as easy. I would also put an edge on that blunt tip. The flat broken part is wadding up the laminates and putting a lot of pressure on that system.. A more sharpened round point with a better edge will better slide between the laminates. Man, that's a lot of good copper!!! Drooling!

Derek dozer scraper blades aren't really that hard . They wear out and get replaced and they are not flat , they're curved . I'd recommend talking to the people at a steel supply about getting a piece of steel to make the blade . There are lots of grades of steel to choose from , one that is hard enough that will do what you want but not too hard that would shatter . You are putting a lot of pressure on the blade and I'd hate to see you get injured by your equipment blowing up . I've seen press's and/or attachments shatter and fly every where . I've still got a piece of steel in my arm from an accident with a press . We had a 300 ton press in our shop and it was scary . Stay SAFE .

I don’t mean burning. Rather something that is called pyrolysis. It’s an automated closed environment with environmental protection and an afterburner for noxious gases. If you want to learn more about this we can talk or exchange emails. It’s the same oven used by motor rebuilders to bake the enamel on the windings. It’s the best and only way to break down motors with minimum labor.
