Created by Twisted Pixel games, The Splosion Man Series was a duology of games that released on The Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360. Let's take a step back in time and analyze this series that has been Forgotten, and without another entry in almost a decade!
Both of these titles are 100% backwards compatible with both the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X/S!

Ah, ‘Splosion Man was one of the first games I remembered legitimately raging out at and throwing my controller over when I was 13. I was unbelievably hyped when Ms. ‘Splosion Man was brought to the Switch and I still play it often because the puzzles, controls, and mechanics are so fun. I just wish there was more levels, maybe they could make a sequel?

Fun fact: Splosion man is voiced by sonny strait ( the English Dub of Krillin from DBZ, ussop from One piece, Koro-sensi from assassination classroom, Re- destro from MHA). Ms. Splosion is voiced by Monica Rial ( the English dub of Froppy from MHA, Bulma from DBZ, Mirajane from Fairy tail and May Chang from FMA) Speaking of Funiamation voice actors, apparently Christopher Sabat (voice of piccolo from DBZ and Zorro from one piece and all might from MHA) does the voice of Star in ms. Splosion

I think twisted pixel is one of the few companies i know that is well known to the point of being infamous for their irl acted cutscenes which are the funniest shit ive ever seen in a game

i remember buying this game in a bundle with trials hd and limbo. i mainly wanted trials hd which i played immensely but i soon played splosion man and boy that game knocked my socks off completely. i would invite my neighbor over and we would try completing the co-op levels. good times. very fun game though i never played the beloved sequel 🙃

‘Splosion man was a huge part of Emmy child hood, and I’d be so happy if he joined smash. I think that he would have such a cool move set, and I’d most definitely main him. He really deserves more attention. He’s such a gaming icon.

Man this shit came out in that glorious first year of my life post graduating high school. Living in an apt complex where me and the boys would just take fat rips offa the bong and play 360 all day. It wasn’t long after buying this game that we were FLYING through the co-op. The synergy we’d develop with our timing was some next level Pacific Rim shit lmao! Those were the days

I absolutely love this highly underrated franchise. I've been replaying Ms. Splosion Man on my Switch OLED and it's just as batshit insane as I remembered from the days of the 360. I laugh so hard at the pop culture references, I'm old enough to recognize 99% of them.

Huh…so you’re telling me…that Ms. Splosion Man becoming THICC is actually part of the game!? And I thought it was a mod when I saw that one video! The Splosion Man games are really underrated, and I hardly see any gameplay videos of them, including speedruns, and multiplayer modes! Used to break records on X360 with GBG3 and Skovran287, broke this game beyond limits. Incredible game and i miss it dearly today. Wish there were other means of obtaining it again.

@@VegitoBlackityBlack The thing is, splosion man had a wall jump trick.. where if you repeatedly hug a wall, you can gain your jump back. This was a game changer and made speed running levels crazy fun in multiplayer. This didnt carry over to ms.splosion however and kinda killed my enjoyment of it without it.

I remember the "prequel" DLC for Splosion Man had this weird bug which made the frame rate drop to ~20fps after just a single death. So your options were either go back to main menu and start the level from scratch with 30fps restored... or just try to beat the level with 20fps. :P

Would you ever talk about Comic Jumper? I unfortunately don't own an XBox to play either the original Splosion Man or Comic Jumper, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. I wish that they had steam ports

Ms. 'Splosion Man is more polished, but the mechanics simply aren't as good as the original. If I was to make a 3rd game I would keep the technical difficulty (maybe make it even harder) but increase the pace because there is a decent amount of downtime where you are just running along waiting to get to the next section.

This game was great. Not only was it cheap, fun, and had the best ending ever, but the scientist gibs were literal cuts of meat.... therefore, somehow, I was given a 50 dollar gift certificate for Omaha Steaks, Just for playing the game! so the game paid for itself!

Splosion Man x Super Meat Boy game?! ha. Should also note that the game has Lisa Foiles from Nickelodeon in it for some reason. Twisted Pixel are pretty great. On the Switch cartridge version, there's a level that stops you from getting the "don't have 1 of the Ms Splosion Men splode while on a rail achievement for the level. At least when asked about it, the game didn't let you complete it unless you had a 3rd controller. They were very quick and helpful in confirming with the team that the Switch version had edited that particular level.
