@@XxMusclecarsxX I'm not sure about sbc sounding the best, but the 406 sbc in my 79 C20 pickup does sound damn good and it is built to tame standards but with great quality parts and attention to detail since I used it as a daily driver and tow vehicle. Forged crank, full roller valvetrain, blueprinted crank, doug thorley headers, msd pro billet hei, ported aluminum heads and on and on. The flowmaster super 44 with 3" exhaust was mean sounding but I switched to a 70 series and it was still easy to tell it was far from stock compared to my 88 K5 with a stock 350 tbi and the same 70 series.
