It’s amazing to see them go from a group of guys who built some cool shit to race at the track to the McFarland racing team it is today. For example, cleeter had Kevin smith build the chassis on mullet and he used to have Texas speed build all his engines for him. Now he’s got tye who can build the chassis’ Zach and Sam to build the engines. Jackstand to drive and get things dialed in. And George to add the much needed commentary😂😂. They took McFlurry from a rolling body to a full blown race car in like two weeks that ran 8s right off the trailer

Sam is such a legend. Amazingly detail oriented man. Always got a smile on his face. Little water spill from the radiator, Sam is immediately cleaning it up. Transferring his machinist knowledge to Zack, probably telling him tricks and tips. He is such a valuable asset to the team. I was a CNC machinist for 8 years and trust me...I wish there was someone that would have taught me all the little tricks I learned along the way the hard way, and all the tricks I still don't know :)

@10:11 the Ford valve cover breathers come in 3 flavors, Blue, Grey and black One is a passthrough, the other 2 have directional check valves in them. it can make a big difference in how you route you catch can.
