I am from Canada and there is a difference between an American bald eagle and a Canadian bald eagle. Honestly reading through the comments and people piss me off, so many people just live to criticize people. Everyone's out here ragging on cooper, he has a bad ass car that he is just trying to get figured out, when you're new to drag racing you're not going to be perfect right off the bat, it isn't nearly as easy as it may look, especially racing a stick shift car. Everyone should be here encouraging him to get better. Practice makes perfect and I am still seeing him improve since he first started racing the V. Keep at it Coop, you'll be in the 10s in no time!

I am proud to see Leroy run like a turpined cat! At the 1/8th, could probably hear hollering across the Red River! Well done. I grew up in a propane truck, great fuel. I built a number of SBC 1&2's, several BBC 4'S. The octane level was crazy and when it was a workhorse cam, I used 11:1 static. When it was street/strip and a little more cam, 13-14:1 was not uncommon. That was with gaseous induction. There is now liquid propane injection! You would be spraying liquid propane straight in the ports! With a -44F boiling temp, think of how high you could push your boost on Leroy!!! Give it a good study, you might find it a good choice. I have no specific vendor to give you a link. I am searching for one for a 60's SBC1 truck that I want one of my turbos on. That way I can turn it on, turn it up, and turn it loose! Cooper should try to get consistent high tens or 11.1s on 2 step and the motor alone before he plays with the spray. Thats what can hurt that stock motor even with a window switch. Spray once you have enough seat time and the other sequences down pat. Standing burning out. Non bogged launch. Consistent 60 foot and consistent ETs. Rooting for him and the V !!!! Hope the motor isn't hurt.

It's too bad Cooper doesn't get to run his car that much....hes got way too many goodies to try and learn to figure out and I think hes putting himself under pressure to keep up! Hes learning a lot quicker than most people would, he just needs more seat time(practice makes PERFECT!!). Cleetus drives half a dozen runs in up to three different cars in the same amount of time that Coop does 3or4 runs (in a car that still has alot of changes and shortcomings in the driveline system..) I think he's doing better than alot of viewers are aware of considering the circumstances. (Not to mention his car has more stock parts than most cars doing the same thing....)Keep fighting the good fight Coop!!!!

Cleetus, we all LOVE Cooper and his V. But YOU need to make ONE CLEAN pass in that car to really show him how it's done. I think what is happening is he is letting off the gas when he gets ready to take off cause he is scared of breaking the car. If that is the case, tell him to just save up and build a dedicated race car and put the V back to NA and get a replacement hood for it. I am SURE you guys can re-use the Texas Speed record motor from Leroy in a dedicated car for him or let them build him one. By the way, I have one of the Zex Machine Gun purge's if James or Cooper wants to install it on their car, plus I already have the solid state relay and LED for it. So it will be super easy to get put in in a day.

He intentionally runs stock axles. They're cheap to replace, and theyre an intentional weak link. The diff is welded, so if an axle doesn't pop, the trans will.

Might just have a high threshold on oil pressure before spark and fuel are added. Probably running looser clearances too, so it may take a couple extra rotations anyway.

It's because they have such powerful engines they arent the easiest to get to run by themselves, they wont have massive starters because added weight probably
