Spock / Chapel ~ (How Am I)

So my last video I only did the first part of the song since it was too repetitive. And this song is repetitive too don't get me wrong. I decided to do that song first cuz I felt it fit Spock better. And I guess I could have used the s1e2 clips of when Spock goes down to the asteroid since he is also in a space suit. But in the end I decided to just do the first part cuz I felt there were not enough clip choices. And the s1e2 clips would not have even made sense imo.
I also had an idea on how to use the newer editing program. So I thought to try to use this whole song mostly to test out the newer editing program. As you can see this song is very repetitive and I tried my best. But as you can see I feel like I already used all the best clip choices in the first half of the video. I tired with this song cuz I felt the repetitive bits were not as specific. So I had more options to fill them imo.
Again this series is great but it's only 10 ep a season. So it's always very hard to do a repetitive song. I thought about doing a b&w montage of shappel good times. Or the parts where Spock has some physical interaction with Chapel and she is shocked/confused. But using kissing/hugging scenes in a sad/breakup type song does not fit the best.
But I do have good news! I have figured out how to use the new editing program! The reason the overlays glitched was cuz the new program has a default transparency mode so I have to put a black backdrop to make it solid. So as you can see the overlays did not glitch, even with them being faded as I always do them. Also the reason the new editing program does not glitch as much and have a meltdown is cuz most of the features are hidden. I just had to expand some things.
The reason the old editing program would glitch so much was cuz it had to load so many things I think. But this is the first video where I was able to close it and then open it! So this was several sittings! It also glitched and closed, but I could open it again! And I did not lose the whole file YAY! So hopefully I will be able to make better videos from now on.
