The S-POD with the LED Screen is what I want for my lights on my JTR. I like the way it installs without all the extra wires and your able to hook the lights direct to the system without splicing into jumpers. This is the way to go. No connecting into cigarette lighter fuse or having to go into the hazard light wiring, this looked way simpler & better IMO.

I love the dimmable spod touch feature bc spoters & others behind in line can't see jack in bright beamy light, Plus is running more lights the light output needed is far less; Except for lasers on baja run.

Amazing video!! Extremely helpful! I just installed mine last night. I do have a quick question. I’m installing my KC 50” light bar pro. It came with a bunch of extra cables 🤪. Where do I make the cut?? I was instructed to cut everything off as just connect the negative and positive coming from the light bar and get rid of the relay. Is this correct?? Thank you I’m advance!! I love you channel. Please keep up showing us how to approach our mods.

Yes, just cut the harness down until you have the negative and positive wires, run those direct to your sPOD and you are good to go!

So for the two separate ditch lights do you double up the spade connectors on the SPOD terminals for the specific switch? Or do you splice the two ditch lights together so you only have 1 set of positive/negative wire from going into the SPOD?

We typically double them up. Easier to pull one side of the harness if needed.

Nice will this work for a 2021 Chevy Colorado zr2 ? Is there a mounting plate for it or kit ?

Yes, the sPOD will work with any vehicle that has a 12v power supply. They do not make a Colorado-specific bracket. Your best bet would be to go with a universal kit and make your own bracket: www.northridge4x4.com/part/switch-panels/bxtsbuni36-spod-bantamx-touchscreen-for-universal-with-36in-battery-cables Though you could go with a JL/JT sPOD kit, the mounting bracket is really basic and could easily be adapted into other vehicles: www.northridge4x4.com/part/switch-panels/bx-tsb-jl-spod-bantamx-touchscn

Question? Sorry I know it’s been awhile but what Spod battery cable length terminal cables do you go with when buying the unit. The 84”or 36” length. Just wondering if the 36” is long enough. They offer two different options. Thanks for your time!

For the JT, we go with the JT specific kit: www.northridge4x4.com/part/switch-panels/bx-tsb-jl-spod-bantamx-touchscn If you are doing a custom mount, use a tape measure to measure over from where you want to mount your PDS over to your battery.

Do you guys sell a kit of just the mounting bolts? Neither my SPod nor my Grimm offroad ARB mount came with the bolts to mount it to the hood.

Thanks, but for my 4XE no way would that mount there. I went with the speed Pod that mounts to the passenger wheelwell which fits.

It doesn't block the vent for the passenger. It does a little bit if you were to aim the vent towards the driver.

It would have been nice to make the control unit a size to fit into the place on the bottom of the dash where the overly expensive mopar switches go! OH never mind. This this is 3 times more expensive than the mopar unit!

Great concept, but wow is that screen horrible! It's 2022, where is a 5" or 7" option with an Hi-Res option. I'd gladly pay more for a actual good looking device. This reminds me of something from the 90's that runs DOS lol.

Yha me too. Looks like a palm pilot screen from '05. And you dont want to be making mistakes w the screen when your in a jam. At this point id rather have real buttons clean and simple like the switch pros and flush mount it into my headliner, out of sight from crackhead thieves and out of my way when I dont need it!

You don't need them...The sPOD has MOSFETs built right in to handle all the electrical loads.
