Thanks for doing this video. I just sold my old 4Runner, which had the sPOD SE Touch Screen. Was about to order a new system for my new Tacoma when I noticed the HD option. This is the only comparison I could find, and you answered all of my questions in 6 min. I'll be going with the HD this time.

Video was very helpful as I have been trying to get some measurements for the touchscreen model. I have a project where it will occupy some space next to a GMRS radio so based on the dimensions the touchscreen was the right choice for me. Thanks again.

Thank you for the honest review. I have gone back and forth for weeks between the HD and the touch screen, but have been leaning toward the HD because of the lag that I've seen several people experience with the touch screen, plus the lack of clean mounting solutions for the screen.

I have the touchscreen. Having to press down multiple times, to get it to function, drives me crazy. I even saw you having to do it in the video.

Great Video, really good presentation, very appreciated :-) how does the Spod compare to the Switchpro unit? Does anybody have opinions of the pros & cons or opinions between the two manufacturers?

I personally would not purchase the SPOD again with some of the new issues I am experiencing. I will be posting a video soon with an update after having this for about 1 year. I have no experience with the switch pro however.

Yes. You could have two of the same or two different controllers controlling one unit.

How did you get a Rigid Adapt light bar work with this system???? I have both and would love to be able to at least use my sPod to turn it on to the last known setting etc.. Id love to know what you did..

There is a set of wires that plugs in to the control box of the rigid adapt light bar. Two of these wires is where you would normally attach a switch or the sPOD.

I used a custom mount by Troy products which looks great and puts it in front of the gear selector, where the usb and power port are located. I will try and post a quick video sometime this next month.
