dipswitch #2 should be set to "on" to provide low voltage protection? keep getting a dead battery since the spod has been installed...i'm on my 2nd battery now since the install.

The label says "low voltage bypass". If set to on, I would interpret that as bypassing the low voltage setting? Not sure. I'll check my connection tomorrow to see how it works out. I have also had a battery drain after installing my spod.

Hello Steven, The sPOD SE Source does have a small parasitic draw. SE Source system with Touchscreen or HD controller 2015-present is between 25mA-33mA parasitic draw (which in the grand scheme of things is very small). The parasitic draw will be Zero once LVCO is activated. Check out our FAQ: www.4x4spod.com/faq By default DIP switch #2 should be in the ON position. ON is in battery protection mode (LVCO). This way if your battery drops to 11.2volts or lower, a 2 minute timer starts and after the 2 minutes the system shuts down to protect the battery. To reinitialize the system, you will have to start the vehicle. Our system needs to see 12.8volts or higher to start back up. If you turn Off DIP switch #2, this will disable the battery protection and will NOT shut our system down when the voltage drops below 11.2volts. Let me know if this helps. -john
