What's amazing about the Butcher + Becca story is that it follows the archetype of the myth of Orpheus. We have a character who is driven by the loss of his love, and so he journeys all the way to hell to retrieve her. He cuts a deal with the king of the underworld to get her back. Through his own failure to satisfy the terms and conditions of the deal, he loses her again, just before they can be reunited. Hitchcock's Vertigo is another example of this archetype.

Aya Cash did such a great job playing a genocidal super maniac! The rest of the cast did a great job as well. Neumann was an amazing deviation from the comic, just like A Train and the Deep who have been important characters showcasing the devastating psychological manipulation by the church. Starlight and Hughie are adorable. Homelander is the hardest to play and such a perfect role for Antony Starr who was such a different character in Banshee. At first I didn't even recognize him as the same actor. The acting was this good.

It was found out that deep has some kind of special gills which secret a compound known as dial 65 which when injected with compound v can give supes power of much higher level than normal compound v...so technically Deep is Homelander's mom
