@@BunnLilah Sure, to an extent it doesn't affect people; however she's in the spotlight with a lot of eyes on her right now, seemingly following suit with other celebrities who are normalising drastic facial surgery as being the beauty standard norm for young women, and that is incredibly harmful. Not to mention contributing to the idea that women need to look a certain way in this day and age (instagram face) - though I agree a lot of people are beig needlessly cruel towards her. It's just highly ironic given her character's arc in the show lol.

This show is such a rare instance where I’m glad the show is distancing itself from the source material while still maintaining a parallel to it. It’s better storytelling overall while still keeping the spirit of the source material. 4 seasons on, even with a few answers to how to stop him, I’m still tense every time Homelander is on screen.

Well, S5 was officially confirmed last month (May 14th, to be exact). Plus, pretty much from the start it was planned for this show to have at least 5 seasons (I know it thanks to multiple different articles, interviews etc.).

What I meant is that Eric Kripke said in 2020 that he thinks that TB will have 5 seasons but since 2023, after the success of Gen V, he decided that he won't speculate how many seasons TB will have anymore and started saying that it might not end on S5. However, there's VoughtHQ (a social media account who is leaking TB-related stuff since 2020 and a vast majority of those leaks turn out to be true) who said and is still saying that S5 will actually be the last season. She even leaked the last part of S4 script (and from what I've seen, when she shows the part of TB script, it always turns out to be real) and the last message there was ,,See you in our final season mother..." (just in case, I'm not gonna finish this word 'cause I don't want my reply to be automatically deleted or something) but ofc there's a chance that she might have an old info and the plans could be changed or maybe plans didn't change and Kripke saying that TB might have more than 5 seasons is just a form of the marketing, I dunno. The only thing that I know for 100% is that Eric Kripke already knows how the whole show will end (he said it recently) but when exactly it'll happen remains to be seen.
