Yeah, persona 5 added the unique boss moments in the formula, in that moment they were limited by the ps2 and PSVita were not that strong.

With the Rumors of a p4 remake in production i do hope they make the Adachi fight just a little better. Like i know it's meant to be an easy fight to illustrate how pathetic he is but something like a 1 v 1 added to the end between Adachi and Yu would be really cool or even a mention of Magetsu Izanagi looking like Izanagi, it always felt weird that Rise mentions he has a persona but never that it looks like a dark reflection of Yu's persona

Did you know?: Some hints may conclude that adachi is the closest thing that resembles that of shadow yu? This is because both personas resemble each in different ways when it comes to their power. For example, izanagi brings about life while magatsu izanagi brings about chaos because magatsu means to bring chaos and despite it being a counterpart of the original, it doesn’t actually exist in mythology, it’s just an anti form of izanagi

To clarify, Magatsu Izanagi actually does kind of exist within Japanese mythology. He's not a rival, but Izanagi himself covered in the filth from the underworld after failing to retrieve Izanami. So Adachi's persona is basically the game beating you over the head with the fact that he's a version of Yu that was beaten down and 'dirtied' by life.
