I think because Wong is the Sorcerer Supreme he has a more responsible perspective now. The perspective that he had in the first Doctor Strange movie. How he was a stickler for the rules, and regulations, making sure Strange knew them as well. That look that Wong gives Strange after the both say "fine" I think is going to roll over into Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness. Because remember on the first Doctor Strange film Wong and Mordo, both scolded Strange for playing with the time stone. And then later when Strange uses it to bring Wong back to life, that was the moment that Wong started to get more comfortable with Strange tampering with the Natural Law of existence. Because Strange kept doing it. In Infinity War seeing those 14 million timelines. Orchestrating events five years in the making that caused The Snap to happen a total of 4 times between Infinity War and Endgame. When in Infinity War, Strange and Wong made it clear to Tony that their duty was to protect the time stone. Anyway...now that Wong is The Sorcerer Supreme he has to be way more responsible. Because now once again in this movie, Strange proposes a spell to Wong, that according to Wong "travels the dark borders between known, and unknown reality" And that it was exceptionally dangerous. Wong sees this behavior of Strange in different light know because he is the Sorcerer Supreme. And I think this sentiment will roll over into Doctor Strange 2, especially after that teaser we got. Because remember this is the same sentiment that Mordo has had since Doctor Strange 1. I think Mordo might even try to kill or recruit Wong. Since Mordo believes so heavily in the Natural Law, not being tampered with, he could justify it saying that Wong was technically supposed to be dead in 2016.

The movie was especially even better than I expected because it served as a sequel to ALL the Spider-Man characters we grew up watching. I loved how Tobey was like a mentor to both Andrew and Tom. I can’t wait to see what they do with Tom’s Spider-Man now since they’ve made a clean slate for him.

I agree because only Tony, MJ, Ned, Aunt May and Happy were the only ones that knew Peter is Spider-man. so the events from Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame was basically just mostly Peter masked up as Spider-Man so the avengers would only strictly know just Spider-man.

Agree and I thought they weren't trying to hide that that is how the spell works they just didn't spell it out(no pun intended) to us with the movie ending. They did make a point where we hear the spell the 1st time "blah blah blah world forgets *Peter parker*" not Spider-Man altogether. Same at the end and it's not a spell to undue all things Spider-Man has done or people's entirr memories of Spidey, they remember everything except who's face/name under the mask.

I loved that Daredevil-Matt Murdoch was his lawyer! That was sooo cool. Also, one of my favorite scenes was when Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man Caught MJ and started to cry..remembering that he didn't catch Gwen..but caught MJ.. ooh..I felt that scene.. Andrew is my absolute favorite Spider-Man 💓

This was sad but it needed to happen. Spider-Man's life is filled with pain and sadness but he keeps going no matter what. Peter needed to learn that the choices that he makes can have a big impact on his life. I hope the next trilogy introduces Black Cat or Yuri Watannabe

Tasha, I totally caught the tension between Wong and Strange too. It felt like there was some off-screen beef that happened between the characters and Wong was still salty about it. It reminded me a bit of how Wong was in What If where he tells Strange to come meet him for tea before he does something reckless (re: saving Christine). Also I remember being in the theatre and finding it strange that Norman's tone had shifted to be a bit darker even though he was supposed to be "good". I figured it was all in my head or maybe the actor made a mistake on that particular take and the director missed it or something. I even forgot all about that weird vocal shift until Peter clocked that it was the Goblin who was setting off his spidey senses. I was like damn Willem really dropped that subtle hint in there to show exactly when the Green Goblin took over from Norman. I love that Sandman was basically giving Hawkeye energy the whole time. My boy was tired and ready for retirement. He was sick of all of it and just wanted to see his kid. It was so sad not having a Stan Lee cameo for this one. I know homie would be happy to see this big crossover with all the Spidermen together and their villains. The relationship with the three of them was the most wholesome thing. I loved them all.

This movie has the most emotional pull out of all of the MCU movies. Andrew’s acting stole the show for me and the nostalgia, the loss, the grief, the memories, the consequences, it was just heavy. And the acting improved as well. Like don’t get me wrong, Iron Man dying hit hard because of the fact that his journey ended. It was a legacy. But the tears from Tom really showed in this film. It wasn’t as heavy for me in IW or EG.

Watch this entire video from beginning to end, and I just love hearing from other big-time Spider-Man fans! Was truly a gift and a blessing to receive this movie with so much heartbreak and ‘responsibility’ to uphold within 2 1/2 hours. I’m still hurting and trying to come to terms after I watched this film on Friday. The ending with the swinging was so powerful. Also, correct me if I’m wrong about this, but I’m assuming you forgot to mention the kind of costume that Tom made for himself, which seems to be more of a comic accurate suit. I know there was a lot of big things to talk about, so that’s expected for some things to get misplaced.

I think one thing this movie might lead a bit into is Armor Wars... all of that Stark Tech was taken by the government. So just like things got taken from Avengers compound & showing up in "Hawkeye", I think the same thing could happen here with Rhody and/or Happy fighting to get the tech back

I laughed during the few happy,bright, fun moments but cried so much during the majority of it. When May said what she said , I knew that was the end.. 😭but poor Peter... I was under the impression that Ned would become a student of Dr. Strange because he knew how to open a portal and use magic (poorly, but that's how it always starts) and Dr. Strange didn't seem upset about it, as well as Strange's cape being the thing that saved Ned... but that theory has been debunked. Strange only knew Ned because of Peter. It's now impossible. 😕

Hey so from what I understand people forgot about Peter Parker not Spiderman cuz Jameson was still cussing him out on the news after everything happened. He just didn't know the identity. Also Venom showing in the movie kinda doesn't make sense at least not by Dr. Strange's spell criteria. As far as we know Eddie did not know of spiderman or peter parker in his world. So he could have been brought here by another means. Also now we know what they meant on Hawkeye by "the new and improved statue of Liberty"

That last spell is the best part of the movie for me. The only time I felt like crying, and I like when movies can really make me feel for a character who’s gone through hell and finds hope in the future. Peter with his GED books, apartment renting and swinging out on his homemade costume felt like the hope for the future that followed his hell. They can give them back their memories in future movies but at this point, I’m glad it happened.

Agreed, that ending with Peter in that crappy apartment took me all the way back to Tobey's storyline of him living in the crappy apartment, broke, trying to make ends meet and selling pics of Spiderman at the Daily Bugle. It makes me wonder if we're going to get that sort of take next time. Is he going to get his GED, apply for a job as a photographer and deal with J. Jonah Jameson as a boss next time while trying to be Spiderman? He's in such a bad place that I can see him desperate to get work and selling pics of Spiderman as a way to get a job with Jameson who is still obsessing over "the menace". It would be interesting to get that angle. Maybe now that he's not a part of the Avengers or connected to anyone, it would be a good time to introduce Kingpin as his villain as he's the polar opposite (highly connected and managing a powerful network) plus still a big street level threat. It helps that he's met Matt already too.

Spiderman still exists, but no one knows Peter, so he was still there for the events of the infinity saga, but they didn't see his face., This is a clean slate now. he can just be your friendly neighborhood Spiderman. He's like the comic book spiderman. He's contracted to appear in another MCU movie , but he hasn't signed on to do anymore solo films. I personally think he should step away for a few years, and then come back as an older spidey and maybe mentor Miles. It's time to have him in the MCU.

Far From Home happens like 6-7 months after the events of Endgame (October 2023), so everything we've seen in Phase 4 so far (besides Hawkeye) happens before it. So it goes (1) Endgame, then (2)Loki (even though it occurs all across time) which begins when Loki picks up the tesseract, then (3)What If....? which begins when the multiverse is opened up by Sylvie killing He Who Remains, then (4)Wandavision which occurs several weeks after Endgame, then (5)Falcon and the Winter Solider which occurs 3-4 months after Endgame, the (6)Eternals happens the same time as Falcon (according to the producers), (7)Shang -Chi happens right after Falcon, then we get (8)Far From Home and (9)No Way Home which apparently runs into Christmas time 2024 when (10)Hawkeye begins.and ends (Its like 6 days in length). Finally, the Black Widow post credit scene between Yelena and Val happens sometime between all of this (we don't know exactly when yet)

Let me tell you I got my ass up when the credits started playing ran all the way to the bathroom to pee ran back just in time for the first post credit scene, I made sure I didn't miss anything.

I was seriously calculating if I could miss an end credit or not. I ended up running during the mid credit and after credit scene. So glad I made it! Been outta practice with being in the movie theater and having to hold it. 😂

Great review, I enjoyed the sh**t out of this movie it had me excited, cheering, cussing 🤬, crying 😭 and this close 🤏🏾 to walking out the theater saying f**k this 💩. My favorite part was when Andrew saved MJ 😭 that was his redemption

This movie was epic seeing all the spider men it does suck but got me curious on what’s next for tom as spider man he lost everything know one remembers him like mind blowing. We need him to re connect with avengers 5 now. Seeing Matt back was dope and doctor strange trailer

They came back from being blipped around October 2023. They went on vacation 8 months later so there's around the end of June 2024.

This spiderman movie made me accept Tom Holland as the best Spiderman although Tobey is my favourite and it really made me appreciate how much Andrew is just as worthy. Tom Hollands spiderman in his 3 movies, has faced the sinister 6 & Thanos, He has the best suits too, He was able to achieve everything everyone wanted from Spiderman in film.

I wish we had more time with tobey and andrew but the movie was already long they can easily give tobey another movie and give andrew another two atleast Ride this wave all the way out i like how andrew redeemed himself it was kinda meta him saying oh i never got to fight an alien im lame blah blah im like naw andrew u great and then tobey says your amazing Now for everyone who complained saying oh he got ironman he got stark tech... now all he has is himself just like tobey and andrew Plus tom spiderman can be ground level friendly neighborhood spiderman link up with the more grounded heroes like daredevil luke cage all them

I really hope they do! I seen some cool theory’s already with Andrew getting Tom Hardy venom has his villain since he said in the movie “I wanna fight an alien” I hope they continue there universes

I mean they were already in it much longer than I imagined they would be, I truly thought it'd be a tad more than a glorified cameo. Like when Strange goes "they're coming and I can't stop them." I thought that would actually be them cause I could tell it was the final fight they'd show up then get 1 scene after then done. Nah they came in introduced themselves, talked a while about their ups and downs, relationships, best villains, figured out the final solution together then big boss fight. I think it was the perfect amount especially when a major complaint was that Stark was all over the other 2 basically being uncle Ben. That easily could've went that way where Tom didn't get to be the main Spidey and it became to wrapped up on fan service with "let's have Willem v Tobey II" and "let's finish the Andrew v Sinister 6 we were working towards" and Tom could've been the sidekick in his own film. It was great they actually acknowledged him being the only one who's worked as a team(under the greatest soldier in history Cap Rogers nonetheless) great step towards him leading the young Avengers now that Kate is here, Riri Williams in BP2, Ms Marvel coming he'd be the most experienced young fella who isn't old enough to lead Sam, BP, Hulk, C. Marvel, etc but perfect to lead the teenager very young adult hero's now being introduced. Great setup they did imo, also Tobey was basically Uncle Ben to Both Tom and Andrew if you noticed it. He was the very seasoned and now much wiser man who actually is pushing 50 so he really could be both their uncles. I said jokingly before we knew about this movie having multiverse and definitely before the thought of these 2 coming back that they should cast Tobey as the uncle Ben character I kinda got the best of both with that.😁
