Good evening, another nice video with lots of traffic, including the huge coal cargo trains with reinforced automatic couplings driven by BR 151 couplings. Thank you very much!

I lived 1999 to 2000 in the region. Great memories. Btw. That station jingle is gone. Almost forgot about it.

Sehr schönes Video Material, wo man sich selbst noch einmal erinnern kann, wie damals der Fernverkehr und Nahverkehr aufgebaut waren. Schade dass es heute leider nicht mehr so ist.

It is a big shame, if only one could travel back in time and appreciate more of what was once then...Many thanks and best wishes...Mark

Great place to visit. I liked the 141, their German nickname was "Knallfrosch" which means banging frog because of the loud bangs when notching up and the original green livery. Did you notice the wagons with the smaller UK loading gauge in the grain hopper train with TMF CITA and Transcereales wagons? The trains behind the double headed 151 class were iron ore trains to the steelworks in Saarlouis, I visited that place too but all has been shut down now apart from some rolling mills. O, and you got the blue 181!

@@spompey Belgium and part of Germany is almost on my doorstep and also Luxemburg and the North of France is not that far away, so I visited many of the places you showed at least once and was very interested in what was going on. Later, 2005 I think, I started visiting diesel galas in the UK and gathered knowledge about the UK rail scene as well.
