P.S. those are good to use only so often. It does help "bring out" the curl, it was meant for dreading the hair. Every one hair type is a bit different, so you'll have to gauge it. With that being said, if you use it quite a bit, without picking your hair from time to time, it can become knotted and single curls that once popped will become intertwined with each other, appearing to look like mini dreads. If that's the look you're going for, then by all means. But if you want just the curl, use the nudred or magic curl here and there, and not on a daily basis like I did. Great video.

@dantehyndman30989 жыл бұрын
Tolindra Collins texturizers will last for at most a few months. but people typically get their hair did or change it up sooner than that so one can just cut it off to save time
@dantehyndman30989 жыл бұрын
Tolindra Collins hes right. A texturizer isnt permanent. Your hair is constantly growing and even shedding as it gets longer. So technically, its impossible for a texturizer to PERMANENTLY change your hair. The reason it would seem that way for girls is because they dont cut their hair as often as guys do
@rosejohnson85569 жыл бұрын
Dante Hyndman This is EXACTLY why it's permanent. You just don't notice because you cut your hair. A texturizer is nothing but a relaxer that is milder and washed out quicker so the hair doesn't get all the way straight. Please read you own explanation and see why you are SUPPORTING exactly what Tolindra is saying.
@dantehyndman30989 жыл бұрын
Rose Johnson as a guy, our hair is obviously shorter. So if youre right than fine. Hair is always growing and based on the people ive talked to who do this, they told me that it eventually wears off. Hair and technically, youre wrong. A texturizer isnt permanent. Do you understand what permanent means? It means it cant be undone. All onr has to do is either wait it out or cut their hair off. Permanent would mean that even if your hair grows back, it's still the same.
@rosejohnson85569 жыл бұрын
Dante Hyndman If you know better than the folks that MANUFACTURE the product she used in his hair, then do your thing love LOL. www.lusterproducts.com/products/scurl/sfaq.php This is directly from their website. "Q. How often do you have to apply texturizers?" "A. Texturizers are a permanent process and must grow out of the hair similar to a relaxer. The frequency of application will be dependent upon the new growth rate of the hair. To combat any dryness you may experience, it is recommended that moisturizers, such as SCurl Activator Moisturizer, be used. "

Love the video, But three slight things. You can (1).move the sponge much much slower over the head/hair & you (2).don't have to press down on the head/hair at all. Try it that way. {A very light hand. no pushing down on the head/hair, & move the sponge slower} (3). The longer the hair is. it's the harder to sponge the hair. then you'll see the difference. Bless.

#1..texturizer is just another fancy name for a perm. It is not a natural process. #2...the sponge should be done in a clockwise motion this way follows the natural direction of your hair. Depending on hair texture, it may be necessary to add some conditioner on the sponge. Continuously rubbing the sponge on the hair after curls have been formed can cause unnecessary stress to hair which can easily lead to breakage Certified Natural Hair Stylist

I'll apologize for my response but if you're going to comment thing like that I'd suggest clarifying you're meaning to avoid ppl like me

Thanks for making this video bc used to I just kept my hair cut low but I've always wanted to do this hair style so not 3 months I started letting it grow till the fro was pretty big and then got it cut in this particular style and I'm very pleased. Keep it up!

I achieve this look on my son's hair using a regular wash rag and my hands. As long as you go in a circular motion in one direction all over using your choice of moisturizer and /or gel. It works better for me using my hands it clumps together better, no texturizer needed.
@JustNeshTV6 жыл бұрын
I’m confused as to why you didn’t rub the moisturizer and butter in his hair. Looks weird like you didn’t want to touch it. However, good video.

Bryen Copper I have the same type of hair, moms is White and dad is Black, and I just got my haircut like in the video yesterday (with a sunburst fade). I like the it looks and feels, and I have been receiving compliments on it since I got it cut from both men and women. I've also noticed more women "appreciating" me as well. So I say go for it bro. I was tired of getting the same old bald fade or medium fade, and tried this new style.

Sorry but a texturizer is a permanent thing. It can't just be washed out. Do your research folks.
@JohnDoe-vo6rf9 жыл бұрын
No it's not,it all depends on how strong the chemical is,I used S curl myself I would know and after two washes it started to fade away and look frizzy
@rosejohnson85569 жыл бұрын
John Doe It didn't fade away, your hair just grew. When I had a relaxer and had my hair cut with it tapered on the back and sides I would relax those tapered areas every 2 weeks because as my hair started to grew the roots were kinky. Since it was so short it looked like the relaxer was going away but it was just my hair growing.

+Rose Johnson When i use the Texturizer my hair becomes coarse again after just 1 month

+Rose Johnson so when women perm their hair it just grow out? lmao shut the hell up a perm or texturizer do not go away that damn fast and that shit goes into your scap /hair lol so it can not be washed out and yes overtime you will need another one but not in two weeks ..you must got hair like spongebob?
@rosejohnson85569 жыл бұрын
+gottalovemystyle if you read my comment in its entirety I clearly said from the beginning its permanent and that when my hair was tapered on the sides after I cut it then I would perm it so I was perming the new growth. Reading is fundamental :-/
