This is a difficult script, plain pure and simple. This guy is tougher than your average Extra Boss tier. You’re given very small windows to avoid stuff in choice spells plus you’re given very limited resources as well only starting with two lives with the chance to earn a couple more in the battle. The most important thing to keep in mind is how chaotic and non-directional his attacks are. In many cases you won’t want to hang out in the bottom center like normal to avoid stuff, you’ll have an easier time if you go in many different ways.

Holy... what did I just watch?! But the thing that struck me the most was that it was a SERIOUS, PROPER BOSS. Serious danmaku, actual balancing (sort of), and proper gameplay elements (telegraphing via sound and delay, etc).

Okay, as hilariously dumb as this is, the attention to detail with the Spongebob references is actually fucking astounding, to the point where I was marking out seeing the dance sequence being turned into that survival. I even only just noticed the blue jellyfish from Jellyfish Hunter in the time-stop nonspell.

You know… I don't know what else I expected when seeing the title… That said when I heard the "fight" theme (or in Touhou logic what would be Spongebob's "theme") I immediately thought "this sounds so disco it sounds almost out of place and that's saying something considering Touhou music" but then the Jellyfish Jam spellcard kicked in and I was like "Did he just… wow…".

Not gonna lie, this is probably a weirder concept for a script moreso than...anything else I've ever seen. I mean it seems like a decent script, but why Spongebob? In general the script has a few beginner quirks like severely unbalanced attacks, but I think that the last spell idea was my favorite part of the whole script. I'm just sad that the lasers weren't directly timed to the music lol

Someone must really like Spongebob in order to have the level of dedication to make this script and design it so seriously. That's impressive. Things like Ronald McDonald and even FamilyMart seem more reasonable because they are already memes in their own right so it makes more sense for them to be scripts, even if they aren't serious.

Speaking of Ronald McDonald, go reread the comments on your Perfect Chicken Flavor video if you haven't recently Also you can...maybe get inside the jellyfish triangles through the corners? That's what seems to be suggested by Spongebob being inside one on the second wave, since presumably that is to prevent you going inside that particular one.

This is surprisingly not that bad. I expected a terrible meme script to be quite honest, that's not what I got. All the tiny little details (when bullets transformed, a new one was spawned rather than just the graphic being changed, the shrunken bubbles, the different movement animations, the decent implementation of music) are what showed me that this guy (kind of) knew what he was doing, aside from possibly the difficulty. The gaps in the nonspells would've made Junko proud in some cases. If you don't mind, I would recommend one of my own creations, "Hidden Spice in Four Seasonings", for you to play. I reckon it's one of my best scripts thus far and I want to give it a bit more publicity. Hopefully I don't come across as conceited or anything. seiga's spongebob unzan wanted a battle of his own Well, all in all I can say that the script was decent and pretty good ideas to capture a Spongebob aesthetic, but I... honestly wasn't that big of a fan of the danmaku. The nons weren't really that interesting, some of the patterns felt cheapshotty at times, Opposite Day is a typical "good idea with a terrible execution" attack etc. I think the scripter does have potential and interesting ideas for gimmicks/mechanics in his attacks, but there's still some work to do.

Depending on the game your only option might be to just get a better computer (that's pretty much what I had to do to play and record ido's games) However when I was having FPS issues in Danmakufu 0.12 Vpatch worked beautifully en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Game_Tools_and_Modifications#Vsync_Patches
