Spongebob, Patrick, and Sandy at Shadow Moses Island

Like with all my other Spongebob edits, this involved an entire sequence of video edits, with trials like rotobrushing 34 unique shots, adding and modifying rim lighting, creating shadow layers, and taking images and video of in-game sections to match with the original scene. This time, however, I upped the ante by also modifying and green-screening the Brawl HUD (Well, Project M's), timing individual hits, and adding in the proper Brawl Sound Design for everything present. Specific highlights: Shot 5 (I'm Dirty Dan back-and-forth) Required me to individually keyframe the Homerun Bat and the Beam Sword, alongside adjusting their shadow layers to show on the screen properly. Take note of the Beam Sword casting light instead of a shadow, but only from the actual Beam bit. To top everything off, I adjusted the original scene (With a stroke of luck) to pan downward underground instead of switching to a wide shot and panning upward to Sandy's tree - The original stage didn't leave me much to work with, but I was able to get a scenario that worked out. Shot 10 (Sandy interrupts Patrick) Added in the Searchlight and Alert ! event that plays in the original stage, timed with Sandy ripping Patrick's forehead off. Music cuts to MGS1 Alert theme. Shot 13 (Patrick flying) I was able to make a looping background using the offset tool, directional blurred for movement, and also added a freeze frame of Patrick hitting one of the watchtowers before getting KOed. Shot 15 (Patrick respawns) I love how I was able to do this and see the result be exactly what I imagined. Shot 24 (The hamster wheel sequence) I knew from the beginning that rotobrushing the entire hamster wheel was going to be a trial of insanity with all the moving parts involved, so I simply decided not to. (I'm pretty sure there's a section in The Art of War talking about choosing your battles). Shots 25-34 Fun fact, all of these shots use the same two backgrounds, just zoomed in and positioned differently.
