Isn’t proms takes place by the end of 12 grade? ‘Cause in later episodes, Pearl age would change around 15-17 of age and still seen going in high school.

Some schools allow students in younger grades to go as well especially if they are small. My prom the whole high school could go.

Season 4 was still ok it had a few episodes that were stinkers but overall a good package now yes 5 and definitely onwards it got severely bad because they made SpongeBob this I don’t even know it’s not even the same character. Like going back and watching the older seasons then watching the later seasons I’m like is this even the same character anymore feels like a completely different show later down the line.

⁠​⁠@@Skye2993 Season 4 is pretty good. Some of the original writers and staff are still pretty involved in season 4 but the new writers were also influencing many of episodes writing as well. I also wouldn’t blame Paul Tibbitt as show runner, I mean he was a writer for SpongeBob from the very beginning, he’s a great writer. Matter of fact, he wrote some of the better season 4 episodes. I think he did his best as show runner, it’s just that he’s a better writer than running the show. By the time of season 5, most of the new writing team completely took over as writers.

@@user-sq5eg8vz6j Yeah because if I’m not mistaken Paul along with some other original SpongeBob staff writers left after Season 4 was done right, which explain the decline.

@@Skye2993 Technically, Paul Tibbitt was still involved as showrunner, occasional writer, executive producer, and even a voice actor until the end of season 9 in 2017.
