I'm from austria where we speak german to. SpongeBOZZ is my favourite rapper. He's not just fast. You can't unterstand it, but he's an incredible lyricist. Pretty much every rhyme from SpongeBOZZ has got over 5 syllables.

I really like your reactions dude, keep on doing what ur doing. On the video: Basicly it shows different situations of the police harassing/ prosecuting people over "nothing" like smoking weed 2:56 / 5:00, loud music 6:15, adult prostitution 7:27 and riding the train without paying for it 8:27 / 9:00. All those things are illegal (prostitution isnt in germany, but the video is very americanized (SRT Challenger car, american police uniforms and colors) and the police goes after such minor violations while ignoring the much bigger issues of society. Those shown in the video are 3:58 / 4:44 kidnapping a child, so probably pedophilia (also notice how that incident is located in the park, as is the weed smoker, but the police isnt there to intervene), 8:05 forcing a girl into prostitution (looks a lot like a minor) which is ofc in contrast to the street hooker / policewoman who has the choice, a man beating up his wife / girlfriend 6:51 and old man being attacked by 2 dudes in the subway and beaten 10:15 (a while back there were multiple big cases like that in german subways). So basicly its a critique on our justice system focussing on small problems of society: - recreational drug use - consenting prostitution - playing music to loud (partying) - using public transport without paying while ignoring much bigger issues, that couldve been cracked down upon if the police wasnt wasting time with those little offences - kidnappping / pedophilia - underaged prostitution - abusive relationships / hitting women - violent attacks in the subway. because they are already at the right location (park, street, neighbourhood, subway). There you go. Someone may have already commented this, but in essence: Part of spongebozz's identity is explicitly taking a shit on german rappers for being fake. The guy who plays him, Sun Diego, was previously trying to make is a rapper and was very fake, but ultimately he wasn't THAT far off from where a lot of german rappers stand. Translate the lyrics from "Intro" (Planktonweed tape) into english some time and give it a read. Spongebozz's main idea that he's a completely fictional rap character, but is still somehow one of the most real in germany. On a side tangent: I'm still unconvinced that Kollegah is faster than Spongebozz, but they're comparable enough in speed to make it not really matter in the long run. That being said, spongebozz's use of voice pitch control and emphasized pronunciation make his double time hit like a truck, and I fucking love it. If nothing else, I would say his skillset for fast rapping is more evenly distributing than some fast rappers. Even comparing him to a lot of the "Worldwide choppers" lineup, he makes some of them look like chumps in how they might have minmaxed skillsets, such as minimal pronunciation, monotone rapping pitch, etc. In that regard, he's still my pick for favorite rapper in the world, and the character's absurdity and unique flavor really add a cherry on top.
