I like positively fifth street by james mcmanus for how its written. Every Hand Revealed by Gus Hansen for good light reading but w great insights as its written all about one specific tournament w dozens of hand histories. But Harrington on Hold Em is my favorite strategy book. Dan Harrington is known for being a tight player but he has knowledge on all different approaches. As far as just a fun read you have to pick up One Of A Kind By Nolan Dalla. Its a great look at Stu Ungar and just really cool

Matthew Janda's "Applications of No-Limit Hold 'em" is up there. Dara O'Kearney's trilogy is essential too.

Nice video Cedrric. I'll add a couple of honorable mentions: Gus Hansen: Every Hand Revealed - I guess the precursor to the poker vlog? He discusses literally every hand he played during his sun run in the 2007 Aussie Millions. Phil Gordon: Little Green Book and Little Blue Book - The green discusses strategy and the blue applies those in real hands. Some of the concepts might be a little outdated, but one that stuck with me is this: When you have the absolute nuts on a draw heavy board (think a boat or quads on a 2 suited board) it can be tempting to check, but you can extract tons of value from draws that can brick out on the river at which point you don't get paid. Looking forward to the next one bro. Come say hi in the comments one day :p

Super System 2 is the backbone of my poker career. I still have 2 spiral notebooks from my notes from reading. I referred to them for 3-4 years after reading it. It’s a classic and still can enhance anyones game.
