I'm not much of a horror fan, I don't mind tension based horror such as Alien but not much beyond that, my partner loves horror and in the lead up to Saw X watched all the previous Saw movies with friends. Though where we meet in the middle is two things Folklore and Junji Ito. Halloween is the perfect opportunity to decorate everything like a dark fae wood with all sorts of things from different cultures, also we do have a few stupid decorations that are just funny like an octopus plastic skeleton but it's mainly spooky folklore. Junji Ito is just cool tho, he does tension based horror so well, I have so many of his works just to read every october
