Just beautiful, Ann! It could serve double-duty - it could be a gift box if you wrapped the gift in tissue paper and placed it inside, and then included the battery-operated candle or the mini lights and after the gift is removed, it could then be used as a latern! What a great idea, and it turned out so pretty.

Very pretty, Ann. 😍 You could turn that into a mantel clock, if you wanted, by putting in one of those little clock motor replacement sets. They're lightweight enough and some of them fasten in place with just one centre screw. You wouldn't even need numbers with the centre you've chosen. It would actually make a really beautiful Christmas clock. 🥰
