Fauna always has such an interesting reaction to horror games. Jumpscares make her jump, but then she accepts the scary bits as cute once she gets to know them. It feels like there's a lesson to be learned here. Probably would make a great protagonist for a children's book.

It was goofy seeing you get legitimately shook by cute cardboard cutouts of ice cream and ghosts. Also learned a few things, such as that you actually like centi/millipedes. Don't think I've ever met someone who does til now. If you do decide to finish this game as a drinking stream as you mentioned in passing, I'd love to see it because that would be hysterical. The scariest part of the game wasn't even the game itself, but the discussion of the possibility of the existential dread that is being in the Void and that I'm a NPC in Fauna's world--though the latter wouldn't be that bad at least. I just want to say about the name thing: as a Michael who is absolutely not a Mike, it's a real thing. Of course, that's secondary to the fact that, at least in the US, there are so many Michaels that most of us go by a nickname or our last name. Almost every one of my friends calls me exclusively by my last name or my full name. This is a big reason that the peculiarity of names has always interested me. Anyways, great stream again, Faufau. This is one of my favorite games when it was under its original title. So cute, so deceiving, and Mumei's ghost is in it. If you do continue after the ending, if you choose to you can skip the hospital and go into the Doll House mode which concludes the story. If time is no concern, endless mode does contain extra specimens that arent in the normal game mode with one of them i really would like you to see

I'm a massive horror game nerd so if you are still looking for recommendations, here are some if you haven't played or watched a playthrough. Not including the ones you've mentioned playing before or know about. -Dead space 1 and 2 (action/psychological/body horror, RE4 in space essentially, but not campy) -Evil within 1 and 2 (Another action horror but more focus on psychological than dead space) -System shock 1 and 2 if you like old graphics (System shock 1 has a remake out I believe) -Detention and Devotion (Both of these are psychological horror and fairly short.) -World of Horror -P.T if you managed to not play or watch it yet. -Darkwood -Prey (2017) isn't really horror, but it is scary enough. Judging by your taste in science you'll probably like this. -Bioshock if you managed to make it to 2022 without playing/watching it. Not horror, but scary enough (Bioshock 2 is also wonderful) -The condemned games. (Detective, spooky games) -Both RE5 and 6 aren't really horror, but if you wanna play with Bae in Co-op, these are fun. -F.E.A.R 1 and 2 are sometimes very spooky but are mostly shooters. - Calisto Protocol coming out in December may be another good one. From the original creator of dead space. - Fatal frame games - Siren games if you can get past the jank, same with silent hill games.

Who would’ve guessed that the real horror would be the existential dread of death, the void, and the idea that your perception of the universe is fundamentally different from everyone else! And as someone who has to deal with centipedes regularly, I ask that you refrain from making me hate Skittles by association, please and thank you. I’d be super interested in seeing a Baldur’s Gate playthrough from you! I’ve always heard great things about it, and how it’s the best adaptation of a D&D experience into a single-player video game, but never took the time to check it out for myself. You also mentioned being on the lookout for new horror games to play-I’m not sure if it counts, (and also pls forgive if it’s overstepping bounds to say), but Calli said in her Quarry stream that she wants to play Man of Medan with a buddy. That could be neat if you’re interested in asking her about it!

On the topic of matcha lattes, I don't think you need to dirty a blender for them. I just put my matcha powder in a glass and add just a tiny splash of water (or milk if you prefer all milk), stir it all around with a spoon (or a small whisk), add a splash of liquid and repeat. You just can't dump in all the liquid at once, or try to stir powder into a full glass or it's gonna clump like crazy.
