I started Heads Will Roll last Friday which I'm now about halfway through it. I'm loving it so far and it is better than I Was a Teenage Slasher.

I personally ended up loving I was a Teenage slasher, but it does read very stream of conscious and the author has this ADD style of writing that can be hard to follow. Glad to hear you loved Heads will roll - I'm reading that this month!

I just finished listening to Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt and it’s one of the creepiest books I’ve ever read! It’s a bit slow in parts but the ending is just so horrifying and creepy it’s totally worth it for me. And thanks for all the book recs I love all the spooky books and mysteries!!

I'm enjoying Teenage Slasher but I'm not super into slashers in general so the tropes don't mess with me as much! 😁 Gonna def read Heads Will Roll since it's on my shelf

Such a bummer that I was a Teenage Slasher wasn’t good! I almost bought the hardcover but decided to wait because I was seeing quite a few not so great reviews about it. I will definitely check out Heads Will Roll though. That sounds right up my alley. I passed on it at the beginning of the month because it didn’t have the greatest reviews either. But it sounds good! I just got back into ready cozy murder mysteries like two weeks ago. Definitely something about this time of year that makes me crave them! 🥰 I will check out the series you mentioned.

I really liked the teenage slasher book and I thought that the narrator was fantastic. I liked seeing the inner monologue because the story was more about him and how the the system affects him. Plus you usually don't get the slasher's thoughts.

I’m about halfway through Teenage Slasher, been hard to get into for me as well. The flashbacks and tangents that go on for way too long has been taking me out as well. I hate to not finish a book but I’m leaning towards that way

Have you read Voyage if the Damned, by Francis White? It is a closed room mystery that takes place on a boat. The raciocination the end was so satisfying. For a spooky read, I really enjoyed Anna Dressed in Blood. I will read both books that you mentioned. So far, I've liked your suggestions. 🎃

I look forward to reading again. I've been in a slump. And I'll be working 12 hour days soon because my job failed to train new and now want me to know everything in less than a month..... weeee!!!! Give me the strength lol
