I got pickpocketed while I was on my way to a music festival where I was going to watch Divine Fits play, money..ticket...all gone. I waited around the hotel lobby I knew where the bands playing the festival would be staying to hopefully at least get some of the records I brought, autographed. Bumped into Britt. He signed my Spoon record and when I told him what happened (lost my wallet and ticket to the show) he said he would put me on his guestlist. The cherry on top was when he gave me his manager's number and said to call if I couldn't get in. I got in. Britt was really really nice.

Two years ago to this day i skipped school and caught a train to Sydney(3 hours away from home) to see Britt and Alex perform at a record store as I couldn’t go to their 18+ show. Entire band signed my poster and album and Britt wrote on my poster “Jordan - thx for skipping out” and now I’m on their instagram. Britt is a legend

Spoon is one of those bands that never sucks or burns out, no matter how old they get, and it's fucking amazing. Age never seems to phase them.

I'm not sure age has anything to do with burning out. I think it has more to do with getting the girls, amassing money and things. The struggle leaves and that is reflected in their music. Mass acception has it's down fall. Good bands burn out all the time but I agree this hasn't happened to Spoon, unlike KOL.
