Been a fan of Spoon for years, saw them live at the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh a long time ago. Hopped in the car with my mother the other day and "Wild" came on. She is a new listener of Spectrum Channel on XM. Anyway, when the song came on she cranked the volume up and said she really liked "these guys" I played " My Babe" for her yesterday and really dug it. Good music is good music.

There are not a lot bands around currently who would appeal to a generation that grew up with a plethora of great musicians. There are a few around today....Just have to find them and share... Spoon has this ability to make their songs just catchy enough to be enjoyable to listen to but never actually cross the line where they become sing songy and annoying. It's like they're teasing us by scratching the surface, leaving us wanting more after every listen. I like it
