None of the vids on Greenough show how radical he actually was. An acquaintance has some home videos his dad took when he was 12 surfing at Rincon Indicator 10-15'. Greenough was turning so hard he was crossing his wake making figure 8's on the huge waves. I hope these videos come out some day because it shows the future of surfing.

Greenough inspired me massively here in OZ, around 10 years old (1978) with a finless foamie, wide thing that was perfect to knee on, then seeing Crystal Voyager and hear him talk about waves etc...think for yourself and the whole surf trip did become my personal relationship with the water. The flow, the energy, each wave, each session was special and that becomes your whole life...i thank George for turning me on, still today! You apply it to everything you do, and it works! A great man, just gets along with it, very cool, very natural, cheers.

Is it acceptable to say Tom Morey was the only real genius in surfing...an aeronautical engineer...what about boogie boards revolutionised surfing....they perform in any condition....how often are high performance surfcraft needed....most surfers surf in small to mediocre conditions......what about surfboard design is bullshit....watch a kid flying in small surf on a boogie board....watch the incredibly deep tuberides boogie boarders get....just saying...
