Sneak attack is not on each weapon attack, its only once per turn. Unless theres a very op magic item

@@javelin1423 Yeah, cause in tabletop it definetely is like that. Its also a little weird cause if you use the icon for sneak attack and miss, you can no longer use the reaction even for offhand attacks.

I did a Sorcerer/warlock/fighter build which was decently broken when I was able to get it to work. cast hast (or drink potion of speed), eldritch blast, eldritch blast, action surge, eldritch blast, meta magic twined spell, eldritch blast. Make sure you have agonizing blast (adds charisma modifier) and repelling blast (pushes enemies away if it hits). My personal fave armor combo was either a robe (any one depending on your preference) + bracers of defense OR the adamantine armor since it prevents critical hits. Birthright hat and Tyrannical Jackboots are great to increase Char, which in turn will increase the agonizing blast damage. (I never used these in my playthrough, but I will have to try them out.) To be even more broken, you could dip into mindflayer powers and increase your Charisma through the "favorable beginnings" and "Illithid expertise" which again, add to your agonizing blast damage. Plus it boost your convo skills through the roof! And by end game at level 12, eldritch blast has three beams, so in one round you could hit one person with up to 12 eldritch blasts.

Now you didn't mention other item slots, but there is a helmet called "Shadow of Menzoberranzan" in the Myconid colony. If you kill the Dreugar you will get it as a reward from their "treasure room". It allows you to go invisible too, so that'll be an extra layer of invisibility for your enemies to have to deal with if you need it :)

if you stack so many damage riders, i am not sure if sharpshooter is the right choice. you probably loose more damage on a miss compared to the 10 damage you gain from sharpshooter. at the very least the -5 to hit becomes way more punishing and the +10 damage less rewarding. anyway, great build!

Yeah, we can go for just DEX, but with advantage sharpshooter is manageable and shooting upwards without penalty is a nice bonus

⁠@@OBaldurianone’er misser, sold by Roah Moonglow in moonrise towers act 2 (assuming she lives the players carnage in the goblin camp). The Ne’er Misser is a +1 rare crossbow that does force damage instead of piercing and has a unique cast animation for magic missile.

Work in Solo Honor? Isn't Duergar better? * 100% invisibility in the game after level 5. * You can activate invisibility once in a fight (ALWAYS), so he can use it to reset fights without stopping, for example, if he appears, he becomes invisible and jumps away, the fight resets and he comes back.

I like this build Spud, cheers! Althogh only 8 temp HPs, it forces you to use your gloom/assassin skils to the max. I'm too lazy with the sneak builds, typically end up duking it out taking damage. I'm going to give this a go! All the bestx

You gotta take out the cambion or the mind flayer during the last nautiloid fight. They each grant 75 xp and will boost you to lvl 2. You only have to kill one though

No, it's fine :) to get level 2 you need to save shadowheart, and defeat two guys on chairs, and save brain. And destroy all enemies on lasst fight (no need of cambion and mindflayer) , and after landing and one more step you getting xp for being on the beach to reach lvl2

Don't forget you can use status and elemental arrows from hand crossbows with your normal actions. Having a shot that puts a cloud of smoke will help with those stealth checks. Or elemental arrows for more damage.

@@TheSpudKing No, this is a Gale Origin run. Note that I am however using a few mods. I'm running the Unlock Level Curve mod to make it possible to reach level 20, but I'm pretty sure the version I'm using does not change the xp required to reach any levels that can be reached in the base game. In my second playthrough (which was Dark Urge) I used the version of the mod that also halved the xp needed per level, and found that made the game way too easy so I uninstalled it. (Technically I uninstalled the whole game and deleted all the mods I had tried already so I could run a clean install after patch 6 came out and then downloaded different mods.) I have the auto loot aura mod active because I don't want to have to micromanage picking up all the little items. It may have me getting xp for looting things I'd otherwise miss. I'm also using the Erudite Robe, Signature Weapons, Signature Cloaks, and Gabett's Hand Crossbows mods. Before leaving the Nautiloid, Gale donned clothes that let him add his intelligence modifier to the damage of cantrips and a magic wand that lets him cast magic missile as a cantrip. Later, in the Arcane Tower, he found and equipped a hand crossbow that let him essentially cast Eldritch Blast as a bonus action once per battle. (After getting that crossbow I decided that the magic missile cantrip was way too strong and decided to try my hand at modding to slightly nerf that magic wand. It wasn't hard to limit it to once per battle. That is still crazy strong, but at least I have some reason to try actual levelled spells on occasion. My next experiment in modding was making magic robes count as camp clothes that could be worn under other armor. It worked for the Potent Robe and Erudite Robe, but for some reason doing the exact same thing to the Robe of Summer and several other pieces of clothing instead turned them into hats so I undid those changes. The biggest thing I've modded myself is probably changing Karlach's Infernal Fury condition so that it grants immunity to fire damage and an additional action per turn. I was never really tempted to let Karlach consume souls when the bonus was only about as good as dipping a weapon in a nearby candle.) One of our level ups was thanks to defeating Raphael in Act 1. This was the first playthrough when I had a character ungrouped but near enough to launch an arrow at Raphael when he first appeared, to interrupt the dialogue cutscene when he takes us to the House of Hope and make him show up in camp later instead. He showed up right behind Mizora when she came to punish Wyll, so I decided to make it up to Mr Ravenguard by letting him wear Helldusk armor to match his new horns. Once Shadowheart silenced Raphael I was able to attack him as much as I wanted without him entering combat, so the once per battle limit I'd placed on the magic missiles didn't matter.

Wow. You abuse stealth mechanics and stack all the damage you can from every item, use dual hand crossbows and the extra damage from symbiotic entity. This is as OP as some of those throw or open hand monk builds (Ascended Astarion with Hope's unique gloves makes for one deadly monk due to the damage boost from the gloves and form on top of the toggled damage boost the monk already has).

Since you're already using a wizard, picking abjuration as the school will give an arcane ward at level 2, and can use a reaction to shield allies at level 6. The ward gets stronger the more wizard levels you have, but that's fine since you only need 2 sorcerer levels to get metamagic
