firendable Yeah. It isn't possible from what I've seen on sport science. But, there is a way this is possible (but Kobe didn't do this method). One would need YEARS of training + reflexes as well as impeccable, and flawless brain speed. One would need to be in your bodies complete prime. All of this would make the person a monk. A truly focused and centered person able to do what humans would seem impossible. But, we just call it impossible, because like 99% of people in the world are not monks lol. Especially an NBA player like Kobe.

i think the real purpose of this video is to show that no one can really jump on a speeding car. even though you have the leap, you must have an accurate timing and that makes it impossible. its not about making a fake video. and for me they explained it perfectly with science. thats why its called SPORT SCIENCE.

The lines of the parking lot do not match up in all the different angles this was shot from. From the side view he jumps from the double lines standing a foot away from the single line. and lands a foot ahead of where he jumps. (1:48) Then in the overhead view he jumps from the double lines intersecting the single, and when he lands its to the right toward the crew.... #SimpleObservationSkills

i actually did jump over a moving car in grade 9 and i got tons of witnesses. I clipped the trunk on the way down tho, didnt get hurt. the car took my feet away with it and i landed on my knee. the inital jump was possible, would have made the full stunt if the car didnt have a spolier.

I'm sure a high jumper could do it if the timing was right and if there was a mattress of something on the other side of the car, but then they would have to jump over the car from the side as it is passing.

not to be a hater and all, but notice that the car is completely on one side of the line. he is standing with one leg on either side of the line. then, when he jumps, he is somehow clearly on the same side of the line as the car. then, as they replay different views of him jumping over the car, note that in one of the views the car is now in between the line. unless he jumped over the car several times, this video is a fake and a waste of time.

You can add the shadow digitally. He only jumped over the car once, and they had multiple angles, but each angle shows a different spot where his feet are. The side profile shows his feet to the right of the white line both before and after the jump, the top shows him jump with the line in-between his feet but land with his right foot on the line, and the front angle shows him jump with his left foot at the line. Explain how that happened if this was real

wow so they lied twice. He used the harness AND didnt actually jump over the car. 1:38 hes standing right next to the white line but 1:41 you can clearly tell the car is on the other side of the white line. Also the extremely sketchy, hologram-like graphics at 1:51 kinda give it away. Clearly they filmed him jumping and the car riding next to him separately and then put them together unprofessionally
