I fished Abercothy many years ago. Cyril was the keeper then. No sewin but i managed a 16lb salmon (returned) off the very top beat.

Love sea trouting, day or night, the lunes fishing well for um ,had a good un of 7 pounds last weekend, but, the salmon have disappeared from the river ,, thanks to the new hydro dame at killington. That there is no doubt about. Medeling idiots .

Some really good advice here! Must say, when you see a chap assembling a rod from the butt section up, it kind of decreases credibility a lot. Being an experienced angler and not knowing how to properly put a rod together looks quite weird.
