Actually in KL Rahul case it how Maganment and captain believe him but don't trust him. They are aware of talent but they doesn't utilize him properly. He will played in every position opener, 3, no. 4, 5, 6 and 7. But team always changing his position and injury throughout his career scared him and lose in confidence in himself. During MS Dhoni captaincy he flourished because Dhoni didn't change his batting position he had proper faith on him give him confidence. But after Dhoni retirement his position was changing frequently either he perform or not. For team balance or his bad form his position was changing and getting drop.

in wc23 he just played single bad inning that too was not bad just slow because how wickets were falling other side before kohli got out he was doing fine but after kohli's wicket he had to anchor no one supported him he had to play slow that atleast his team should be able to make a fighting score and we know he played fantastically in other matches kohli and rahul won 1st match against aus for india 34 against ban 27 against nz 38 against eng 102 against ned 39 against nz in semi and 66 against aus what else do you need from anchor and finisher

You have to give it to Australia for understanding the conditions better than India, for making excellent plans and for executing them perfectly. That was a formidable Indian lineup. Beating them wasn’t easy.
