and living with not enough food and less water is better? Think of it. Part of the herds are free but there is not enough space. Or have you seen Oakley from Red Rock Herd or a Herd near by which was shot from some strangers? And this should be better?

@@natalies.7407 the government has plenty of funds to protect them it is better for them to remain free and in the wild when they are round up many do not get good homes and many are slaughtered it is a difficult situation and I try to look at all the options the common ground we have is that we both love them

No need to be sad. These Mustangs are the lucky ones. They will have owners who love and appreciate them and who will bond with them. Mustangs live healthy, wonderful lives once out of the wild and thrive in their domesticated life. They form new herd friendships at their new homes. The stallions, in particular, will live longer, healthier lives as they are all gelded and no longer have to fight other stallions over mares.

We would prefer to see them thrive in the wild as well, however it is our mission to find those who are rounded up the perfect homes so they don't have to stay in holding forever and at least get some freedom back😊
