Only 2,396 people have run a sub 15 minute 5k. Eliud kipchoge's pace for each 5k mark is in the 14 minute range. For 42 km! He never ceases to amaze me. Also, only 1591 people run sub 30 minute 10k, yet his pace under that, too.

I can think of a few: Martina Sáblíková: One of the most successfull speed skaters of all time, while also achieving international succes in cycling. Carl Lewis: Won Olympic gold in running and long jump. Ester Ledecká: Won Olympic gold in skiing and snowboarding in the same year.
