Hello! I'm from Argentina, and I'm still a little confused on how to differentiate the activities that go with "go" from those that lead to "do". For example: I think to "go rafting" and "do rafting" it's the same thing .And I don't know how to tell them apart (Sorry for the spelling or if the text is not well understood, the translator haha)

@evange.c, this is a difficult issue in every language. So the only real way to learn it is to memorize which verb goes with which activity. We play baseball, we go rafting, we go swimming, but we play tennis. The more you read about sports acitvities, the more you'll be able to remember the verbs we use with these activities. - Jay

Hello, Madam & Sir. I am Yulian from Indonesia. I like your videos, they're easy to understand. The explanations are simple and clear. I'd like to ask you a question if I may. How to use the word 'GO'? I read these two sentences in a book and other learning videos. 1. "Do you ever GO camping?" 2. "We'll have dinner and GO see a movie." No. 1 is understandable, the word GO is followed by a gerund. But for No. 2, it's a little bit confusing. May I say "...GO (to) see a movie" or "...GO seeing a movie."? There are also few sentences, here is one of them: "I watch my children play." Can I say: "I watch my children playing."? I need your explanation. Thanks in advance, Madam & Sir.

Hello ET ET. Great question. It depends on the context. It's a polite thing to say if you want to show sympathy for someone. For example: 'I have a terrible cold and couldn't sleep last night'. 'Oh you poor thing.' In that context it's a polite and kind thing to say.
