I'll always be a little sad we never got Shut Up and Jam Gaiden 2, but you nailed it on the head when it came to what went wrong. Keeping it as a simple, silly, but earnest little RPGMaker game would've been perfectly fine, rather than trying to make a full-on indie game studio development with all the bells and whistles. Maybe someday we'll get a kind of fan sequel/spin-off to the first game, that'd be pretty fitting.

Shaq Fu is a horrible game. but I remember playing it on sega genesis and I hated it, but I love fighting games and playing it with my family and friends so it holds a place for me idk in my heart but my memories forever, the soundtrack is the best thing about the game
