People. With the legalization of sports betting plus the fact major leagues are now fully partnered with and heavily promoting on air From this point forward... Assume the worst and treat professional sports the same as professional wrestling. Where outcomes are predetermined or at the least, officiating is heavily skewed towards a particular player or team. I truly believe behind the scenes... There is a small albeit powerful cabal of players, referees, and executives fixing matches. The amount of dirty money is simply too large to leave on the table. If and when the inevitable scandal is blown open and the subsequent fallout. It'll make Pete Rose look like a saint.

It is annoying that sports betting and fantasy sports are more popular than the underlying sport itself. I find it fascinating that people do sports betting or gambling of any sort. You are playing a game where you are mathematically set up to lose. I guess it don’t care if people lose their money foolishly, as long as the government doesn’t use my tax money to bail them out.
