Nothing being done about it is also very common. These departments purposely hire people that will blindly follow any order given to them. Our courts have become or maybe always were just a source of revenue. It was never designed for 99% of cases to be resolved with a plea deal. Judges prosecutors police public defenders, and even defense attorneys work together to keep the revenue stream coming. The courts are more likely to suppress videos than watch them for evidence that would endanger the income that the charges generate

If you are falsely accused of resisting a false arrest, you are subject to arrest for falsely accusing an officer of falsely accusing you of resisting a false arrest. If you file a complaint about being falsely accused of resisting a false arrest, you are subject to false arrest. Did that clarify that?

He doesn't have to wait for the case to be dismissed/decided, in fact, he has only 2 years to file the suit (title 42 section 1983/1985/1986), and many times when they think/know you're going to file a suit they will drag the case so the statute of limitations will run out. They do this because most, like you, believe you have to wait for the original case to end, and if it was dismissed/found not guilty.

The amount of lies that tyrant said while he knew he was videotaping is deplorable. He has the guy on the floor handcuffed and keeps repeatedly telling him to stop resisting when we all can clearly see the guy is barely moving.

Even with elbows bent the wrong way and in major pain and anxiery, he is moving so little that the only thing revealing that the video is not paused is when the cop raises his hands even further, inflicting even more pain. And he still doesn't move. Yet: STOP RESISTING, STOP RESISTING, STOP RESISTING!

He wasn’t “looking out for regular people.” He was looking out for homeless people - you know those most vulnerable and unable to help themselves. He’s taking bigger risks to help those most in need and least able to return the favor.
