The only way you can GUARANTEE a Win is to do +40 Alternate spread on a team for every matchup (NFL) meaning that If the Cowboys and Saints play and you take the Saints +40 that means that you cover yourself 2 ways. Either the Saints will win the game outright or if they lose they won’t lose by more than 40 points. Now obviously anything can happen but a +40 bet In the nfl is usually pretty safe BUT The odds are likely something like -3000 which means you’d have to bet ALOT of money to turn a profit. Remember Uncle Sam gets his cut. None of the oddsmakers/ advice givers address this issue in any video I’ve ever seen. Gambling winnings are taxed as earnings. And the IRS views the whole portion you win as taxable, not just your profit. For his example on the over/under homerun, your profit is $5, but you actually won like $265 dollars minus your investment. The IRS views the whole amount you won back as taxable. So your taxes aren’t on the $5 profit but the whole amount of money you win back. The whole reason this gambling is widespread legal now is because it’s a tax racket. The only way you can make a living with this is to have a crazy bankroll where you are dealing with huge numbers.

@@ghostmane2643 if you make more than $600 gambling in a year the casino is supposed to issue you a form for your taxes. The only way around paying straight taxes on it is if you itemize your deductions on your returns and you have to keep a log of all your bets, and how much you made and lost. Most people when they file taxes take the standard deduction which is a $12000 deduction. If you decide to itemize you have to account for all your deductions, don’t ask me what this entails. But yeah the IRS views your, say, $200 bet as money spent, the act of gambling is considered the entertainment. So if your $200 bet bets you a $300 total dollar win, the IRS sees this as income, the whole portion, not just the $100 you won. Why else is it legal now everywhere? Casinos are raking in dough and the state is complicit even though it is essentially predatory, albeit a little more probable to win than the lottery. He state gets tax money, casinos get rich, you get broke. Even if you are successful professional gamblers win at a rate of about 59%.

@@glennhughes868 yes, but the standard deduction is like 12,500 or something like that and many times at least from my understanding, it’s not worth it to itemize. Also means you are more susceptible to an audit and you have to keep that log to be able to prove winnings versus losses. For the first time ever i am probably going to consult a tax professional this coming tax season. As it stands I’m probably better off taking the standard deduction instead of itemizing, but I’m a small roller though too. More money mo problems

Couple of things wrong here: 1. You would need a very big bankroll. You are profiting money every time but because it’s so small, it becomes an issue and it takes a long time to profit, you would need tens and thousands to make a great living off of this. It’s too much to risk in terms of security or financial reasons, not losing the bet since you are not losing the bet. 2. The fees when depositing/withdrawing. Because the profits are very small, you would have to constantly deposit more money into your betting accounts, and there’s many fees on some of these sites, when depositing or withdrawing. 3. You could get banned from doing this, not sure how they detect this but I’m pretty sure the ban rate is high and it’s over if you get banned. I really want to try this but the investment, risk of ban, and overall everything is too much to risk.

This is kinda crazy but I just started sports betting like a few weeks ago and already lost some money but I kept changing up my strategy and today I made $450 net after betting with like $100. I did like 50 different parlays, each one a bit different and half of them hit and like 80% of the parlays that didn’t win were only off by 1! I would bet on anywhere from 2 lines to 20 lines. I was super close to hitting $500-1000 a few times with a 1 dollar bet and just losing off 1 or 2 stats. Most of the hits were in the $20-40 net profit range off of $1 bets. Kinda hard to explain my method but it’s just crunching numbers. I’m gonna see if I can repeat this tomorrow and the next day. I think I can. There were like 8 different games today and I was pretty right about most of my bets. The way this guy is talking about winning is too slow.

I like to bet Same Game Parlays. I'll pick a Negative Spread for the Favorite, a Positive Spread for the Underdog, and an Over or Under based on previous games and team averages. Yesterday, (2/28/22) I won 5 of my 11 SGPs or a 45% win rate. I would say that on any given day I would win 35% of the bets I place but I bet +300 every time which means that 1 win cancels out 4 losses if you bet the same amount of money each time. For example: If you bet $5 x 12 games you are staking $60. If you win 3 out of the 12 games (25% Win Rate) you would break even. On average I'm winning 4 out of 12 games (33% Win Rate) which means that I would get +$20 a day. Obviously you can adjust the amounts you bet based on how much money you have to play with. If +300 is too risky for you adjust your SGPs to +200 or +100. For +200, 1 win = 3 losses and for +100 1 win = 2 losses.

Seems like a lot of people are naive to arbitrage here. You can get limited, obviously, but that's the case with any profitable betting strategy. I've made thousands from this, and I don't think it's the best strategy even. You get limited for winning, doesn't matter how the money is made. To avoid getting limited faster on arbitrage bets, just don't bet like a fool and round your numbers (e.g. $500 not $510.23), avoid Chinese basketball & obvious markets. Arbitrage is just two bets. This isn't vodoo magic, it's a simple hedge bet.

U need 2 points on ea side to win in FB. Need a dime line at most for MLB etc. we did this 30 years ago and made a deal with 2 Bookmakers who said sure, take 2 points a game but u have to bet every football game on Sunday and total. 1 middle and we broke even. Nice but I created two sports betting systems for horse racing and sports betting that I guarantee will make you a lot more money that always begins with these two statements…1. I do not know what horse is going to win this race 2. I do not know what team is going to win this game….but I’m going to use probabilities and odds to make a decision…I have bet more longshot winners than anyone in the history of horse racing which began at the age of 18 when I bet 100 to win on a 40 to 1 shot at Sportsman park in Chicago and got back 4180 bucks…both systems take a lot more work than this but that makes it a lot more fun…both betting systems also take a lot of concentration to be successful..obviously I’m not giving my knowledge away for free I just wanted people to know what’s possible
