Good tips, and you're right, you don't often hear about them. I guess they aren't as sexy as gear reviews or camera settings!

Thanks Jack, I agree. Simple tips that aren’t always shared. They’re small but they do help. Appreciate you coming through!

I’m just starting out. And am on a budget-ish. Recently got the Canon EOS R50. The lens I have at the moment it’s the stock lens and a EFS 55-250mm. I’m only 27 secs into the video trying this so maybe your answer is in the video. Or if not. What lens would you recommend to replace the stock lens. I like the 55-250 for the range when I’m on the sideline but for the warm up shots or even the players and coaches on the sideline, I want a better lens for that range but I’m also on a budget at the moment.

I think that camera is a RF mount so any of the lenses I link in my description outside of the 300mm. For budget friendly, the Canon RF 50mm f1.8 would be a good lens to start with. Or the Canon RF 35mm f1.8. But a lens that would be great in many cases a 70-200mm f2.8 or F4 would be good. You can use ebay to find good used gear as well.

@@DLivingston I appreciate the response, looking in the the 50mm f1.8 and the 70-200mm f2.8 right now.

@@DLivingston no when ima taking the pictures and have a high shutter speed. Is it the lenses that keeps it from having so much blur or the settings on the camera ?
@DLivingston4 ай бұрын
If you’re talking about blur behind the subject that is lens and settings that will determine that.
