It's super fun watching you all jump from topic to topic!! Kept thinking about this so I thought I might as well comment; - John's questions about fandoms I could ask about sports fans, I remember growing up with news stories of people getting hurt and more because they were fans of a winning team, of harassment and ugliness, and seeing what amount to riots when a team wins a big game, but I also love soccer and think the communal nature of sports can be good for people. It's just that people want to feel special and that often overrides everything else. - You two talking about your own human experiences is providing role models for people who need them and that's one way to combat the problem of angry young men online with no examples of how to deal with feelings without hurting themselves or others in some way (like social or emotionally) Thanks for another fun and interesting podcast! Looking forward to the next one 💜
