I was wearing this exact jacket in white, on my long trip to Italy from the UK. It's a solid choice in the country, but forget anything about having any ventilation during hot days (30C+) if you plan of touring with it! The lack of sleeves air intakes really made me suffer, and the torso air vents were closing themselves due to the position (I'm on a multistrada) even with the buttons clipped to keep it open. I ended up stopping under a bridge to cool myself with water, and suffered from heat exhaustion when I finally managed to find a service station shortly after cooling down the first time. I never had issues before, even with the andes V2 I had previously (which I think it had slightly larger vents and intakes?).

Agreed - for long spells in hot weather like that any jacket with a membrane will most likely be too hot. I've experienced the effect you describe there and a jacket with a removable membrane is far more suited to those conditions. Thanks for getting in touch and sharing your experience. Cheers, Tony

Hola! Gracias por ponerte en contacto con nosotros. En cuanto al frío, esta chaqueta sería ideal en invierno si llevas algo debajo para un aislamiento extra. Una Chaqueta con membrana impermeable laminada en el tejido externo es mejor para mantener la chaqueta seca bajo lluvia persistente, pero el forro en esta chaqueta es muy bueno para protegerte del frío. I can't assist with enquiries like that I'm afraid. I'd suggest getting to a shop and trying as many jackets as you can to see what works. In most jackets, sleeve length increases with size of jacket so you're more likely to find something suitable if you go for a larger size in the body. Thanks for getting in touch. Cheers, Tony
