At the time with how much the rest of the team didn’t like John O’Korn, it was a relief to see the unbelievable athleticism that was hidden at WR, ready to take the QB1 spot and save the season. Not only we’re we blessed to get to watch the incredible accomplishments of Greg Ward Jr throughout the rest of his college career at UH, but we were blessed with a season of the rushing offense from Greg Ward AND Kenneth Farrow. That was fun as hell to watch.

Everybody in the locker room wanted Greg to start at qb. Back in the Spring, he outplayed John but Levine promised him the starting qb spot. Thankfully he had enough sense to let Greg stay on the qb room during meetings.

This dude is just straight up electric! I mean that damn agility is ridiculous for a regular player, let alone one who can actually pass the ball. He is definitely on my must watch list for next year after seeing this. Now that they got Tom Herman from tOSU, that offense is going to be straight nasty.

Thing was that he wasn't even a real QB (granted, I think he played QB in high school). He was a wide receiver that knew how to throw a ball. Now he has some of the best coaching in the country and he's been studying. I have a feeling that this year or next year, the names "Greg Ward" and "Heisman Trophy" will show up in the same sentence.

Bo Simmons This is what I have been telling everyone and I am so glad to to know i'm not the only one who thinks thay Greg Ward and Heisman might be spoken in the same sentence. In the college football enviornment I doubt he would win because of politics and strength of schedule, but if things keep going the way they are the latter might change.

***** Boykin is bulkier though. Ward had to gain weight to play. Their play style is a bit similar but you can compare Boykin to Russell Wilson. You can't really do that with Ward.

Bo Simmons I hope his weight gain doesn't affect his speed. Supposedly O'Korn beefed up too and it looked like it slowed him down. I don't know if it was poor coaching or his weight gain or both... but that's all in the past now.

I doubt the weight gain will effect ward like o'korn. The problems with o'korns weight gain was his throwing, for whatever reason his accuracy was horrible after he put on that weight. Ward will still be just as fast and allusive, but even better this year.

Wey Tan O'Korn under Meachum was very sheltered and suddenly thrust into a starting position that he wasn't ready for. And according to rumor, he caught Greenberry and some of the O-Line smoking pot and told the coaches about it. So the team just gave up on him if that's true.
