Just wondering why your using a baitcaster reel and not a spinning reel? If there more pros to it to use a swim jig?

Just really like the control with a baitcaster over a spinning rod - especially when we are fishing fast presentations such as a swim jig at a straight retrieve. Plus handles big fish a little better! Good question

Understood! 7’ Medium Action ZR Bass Model with a split grip handle. We were using a Shimano 200 Tranx bait casting reel spooled with 12 lb mono line.

I have been watching your shows and you guys are awesome I have been looking for a swim bait for bass fishing and was wandering if the 2/0 hook was big enough with the 1/4 ounce weight and how long are the baits with that hook size thank you keep on doing what you do Big fan!
