I’m not even sure if all of the JAAA/JOA are voted out🤷🏾♂️it would make a difference, because of the good ole boys club atmosphere that runs through our system. How can other nations get benefits of our physiotherapists before we do because you want to be cheap and not pay for their services? How???🤷🏾♂️ Why does not these two organizations work out a system of training more physiotherapist in Jamaica or overseas?

Mills, Franno and other coaches have voiced similar concerns about JAAA and JOA, yet, year after year, nothing changes. What a thing: you consistently underperform in your job, yet your contract is guaranteed to be renewed.

It’s my understanding that the President of the JAAA is not a paid position, if true, this needs to change.

not being paid and making money in that role due to the influence is two completely different things.

It appears that the JAAA/JOA president’s, staff, coaches, agents and athletes do not know or understand the rules set by IOC and World Athletics. Knowing the rules is critical to being a successful athlete, Federation and country. I encourage everyone to spend some time reading all the rules.

Due to JAAA'S extremely poor leadership over the years, they have completely lost the respect of Athletes, Coaches, Clubs & the public at large, therefore, it will be extremely difficult to have the Athletics Fraternity, coalesce around the JAAA's in a meaningful way, to achieve success, thus,. it's VITAL that there be new leadership àt the JAAA's, its the ONLY way.

This is so damn sad it makes me want to cry. . . and to think that some of us including, myself were so highly critical of the athletes when all the time their potential was being stifled by the actions, or lack thereof, of the the JAAA and JOA---the blame should rightly be placed squarely at the feet of these two entities. It's a downright disgrace and malpractice, in my view, by the JAAA and, in particular, the JOA for the athletes to be on the receiving end of this sort of treatment . . . not having adequate therapist/medical staff for the preparation and rehabilitation of these our national icons, so that they could be at their very best when it counts. How can they justify having more medical personnel/therapists at the World Championships in Budapest . . . but one year later significantly reduce the number for the Paris Olympics, an event of even greater magnitude. . . .? Trying to get by on the cheap and with the undercurrent between these two bodies, it was the athletes who suffered most; but the sheen has also been rubbed off Jamaica's image as a premier track and field nation and replaced by a monstrous scar. Clean this mess up or resign en-bloc so that more competent and patriotic people can take the reins. Enough already!!

1. Mills - those physios dont they have contracts with specific athletes so how Jamaica going to get them, outbid?. 2. isn't Mr. Turner the physio for hudson-smith 3. the headline is a bit misleading as it mention 4x400 but not much is said about 4x4
