Not really fair. That means someone will be passing them the puck and some people will get better passes than others. Also the speed of the pass will effect the shot speed.

I wish the skills competition was set up differently, I would love to see Chara Slap the puck one last time. I would also like to see Chara and Weber against each other as well. They need to change it because there are so many players that are not all stars but could easily come first in the skill competition.

Look at Ovechkin in the slomo at 6:25 - he doesn't flinch or groan the way Stamkos and some of the others did. That power went into the puck instead.
