That second goal is so insane. Everyone knows it’s coming from right there. All of his goals come from right there. Impressive on its own. But that pass is so slow on the second goal. Not only does everyone know where it’s coming from, but now they also have more than enough time to post up and defend it, yet he still blows it past everyone. The puck just comes off his blade different. It’s such a beautiful thing to watch.

I can't think even one with that kind of shot which Laine has when he is at his best. When Laine hasn't his head straight it's different thing. But hopefully he is able to keep spirit and humour up now, because he brings in something to watch in games. Every goal counts, but some are more fun to see than others.

He's still restoring his cardio levels and he's clearly rusty for having so long pause + the leg injury after that. Leg injuries are like the worst possible injuries. He scored a lot end-to-end goals in Columbus (there's highlights of those on KZbin). I'm sure we'll see more of those McDavid type of end-to-end solos after he restores his stamina

Laine got harder shot than Ovechkin (if you check the stats "The Hardest Shot Ever Recorded in the NHL According to the EDGE Technology", Ovechkin is just behind Laine + if you check shots vs goals-ratio Laine wins again. And if we're inspecting the accuracy: How can you get more accurate shots if you already get those *PING* sounds (they are at leas equal in accuracy).
